Hot Potato Millionaire

The website works very easily:

1.  Everyone donates as possible until the community collects $1 million.

2.  Those who choose to do so will create profiles to showcase the cause that they would undertake if awarded the $1 million.

3.  Once the community votes on a profile, we begin verification and meetings with financial advisers, lawyers, and accountants based on the project. This step is key to ensure that no matter who receives the funds or for what cause, the value of the money is maximized and the grantee is educated on money practices.  The adviser remains on the project until it’s completion.

4.  After six months to a year we create a video spotlight  showing the progress made on the project.

5. Rinse and repeat.

Over time this kind of thinking will better the economy as a whole.  Many projects can be created, like starting small family owned businesses or helping struggling ones.  More jobs will be created in that fashion.  Or maybe a struggling person is granted the money and will be able to retire after a long life of hard work.  The possibilities truly are endless but we must not limit ourselves.  Please donate to create the website and help our neighbors, our economy, and ourselves.
